The UPSC civil engineering syllabus for 2025 provides a detailed list of topics, which ensures technical expertise by the candidates. It is further divided into two major papers that rely on two different dimensions of civil engineering. Paper 1 deals with core subjects like engineering mechanics and strength of materials, whereas Paper 2 includes specialized topics, such as environmental engineering and transportation engineering.
