The Institute of Engineering and Management has declared the IEMJEE eligibility criteria 2023 for the candidates. It is advisable to go through the IEMJEE eligibility before filling out the application form. Get more information related to the basic eligibility for the IEMJEE exam on this page.

  • The Institute has not mentioned any minimum age limit for the UG and PG courses.
  • The candidates applying for B.Tech courses should have completed the class 12th exam with PCM as main subjects. 
  • Candidates who qualify for the written exam will be offered the IEMJEE admit card for the counselling round.

IEMJEE Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates have to qualify for each factor associated with the eligibility to be eligible for writing the IEMJEE exam pattern. We have mentioned each factor in the section below.

Age Limit

The university has not notified the minimum age limit for the candidates who wish to pursue UG and PG courses. 

Educational Qualification

The college conducts the IEMJEE admission for two levels, UG and PG. The educational qualification for both courses is different and has to be fulfilled such that the IEMJEE application form gets accepted. Know details related to the same in the section below:

Undergraduate Courses

B. Tech (Bachelor OF Technology)

  • Aspirants must have passed in PUC/CBSE/ICSE/10+2 or equivalent from any recognised Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
  • The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination is 45% for General and OBC category applicants. For SC/ST, a minimum of 40% of marks is required in 10+2 or equivalent.
  • Along with Physics and Mathematics in class 12, candidates must have any one of the subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Biotechnology, Electronics, English.

BPharm (Bachelor of Pharmacy)

  • Aspirants must have passed a two-year PUC or any equivalent examination from a recognised board or university.
  • Applicants must have scored at least 40% in either of these combinations: PCM, PCB, PCMB, PC & Computer Science or PC & Electronics.

PharmD

  • Applicants must have passed 10+2 from PUC or any other equivalent examination.
  • Candidates must have Physics and Chemistry as the compulsory subjects in 10+2 or equivalent with either Biology or Mathematics.

Post-Graduation Courses

MTech (Master of Technology)

  • A degree in BE/B. Tech with at least 50% of marks in aggregate in the respective field.

Master of Business Administration

  • Candidates must have passed a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of three years duration from a recognised university
  • Candidates in the last year of their graduation are also eligible to apply for IEMJEE 2023
  • The candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in the aggregate (45% in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST & OBC category) of all the years of the degree examinations.

Domicile

As per the official notification, the candidate should be a permanent domicile in West Bengal. Only then, they will get all the reservation benefits as applicable for the selection process.

Number of Attempts

The university has not mentioned any maximum attempts for participating in the IEMJEE counselling and admission.
