RSMSSB Librarian Exam Pattern 2024 (Expected)
It’s important that you are aware of the exam pattern for this exam. Only those candidates who qualify in the written exam will be placed on the final merit list. Your selection will be based on your ranking on this merit list. So, here is the RSMSSB Librarian exam pattern 2024.
- The written exam will have objective-type multiple-choice questions for a total of 300 marks.
- There will be two sections in this exam - Part-I and Part II.
- Each question carries 2 marks with a negative marking of 1/4th mark for every wrong answer.
- Candidates have to score at least 40% marks to qualify for this exam.

RSMSSB Librarian Syllabus 2024 (Expected)
You have to study as per the syllabus put out by the RSMSSB for the Librarian exam. There are two sections (paper-I & paper-II) in this exam. For paper-I, you need to study various topics in the General Knowledge Syllabus. Similarly, you should prepare various topics around Library and Information Science and Basic Knowledge of Computers for paper II. RSMSSB Librarian Selection Process 2024
This recruitment selection process has two stages - the written exam and the interview process. You have to clear both these stages to get selected for this recruitment. The board will release the cut-off for both these stages separately. The board will then publish the merit list as per the performance in the written exam and interview round. Only those candidates who clear the RSMSSB Librarian cut-off will be ranked on the merit list.
