WBPSC IDO Admit Card

The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has not yet released the WBPSC IDO Admit Card 2020. WBPSC conducts the WBPSC IDO exam every year to fill the vacancies for Industrial Development Officer (IDO) posts. There are currently 118 vacancies available. The IDO exam consists of a written exam/screening test and a personal interview round. Candidates can download the WBPSC IDO Admit Card after applying for the exam online 

• The WBPSC IDO admit card is usually released on the WBPSC’s official website a few months after the completion of the application process, and a few weeks prior to the exam.

The Commission releases the WBPSC IDO admit card 2020 on its official website. The candidates can download their WBPSC IDO admit card from the official site by following the below-given instructions.

Step 1: Visit the official website of the West Bengal Public Service Commission by clicking here: https://wbpsc.gov.in/
Step 2: Once the WBPSC homepage loads, click on the link that says ‘DOWNLOAD ADMIT CARD (FOR WRITTEN SCREENING TEST) under ‘Candidate’s Corner’ in the left menu panel to download the WBPSC IDO Admit Card 2020 
Step 3: Find the link corresponding to the WBPSC IDO exam and click on it.
Step 4: When the link opens enter your enrollment ID or first name and date of birth to log in. 
Step 5: The candidate’s WBPSC IDO Admit Card will appear on the screen. Click on the ‘Download’ button to download the hall ticket onto your computer and take a print out of it for producing it at the exam hall.

What Candidates Should Carry on the Date of the WBPSC IDO Exam?

The candidate must bring their WBPSC IDO admit card and one valid ID proof to the exam center. On the day of the WBPSC IDO exam, candidate verification is done at the exam centers. During this verification, the candidate’s WBPSC IDO admit card and a government ID proof is compared to check for the validity of the information provided in the admit card. The accepted government ID proofs are:

• Aadhar card
• Driving license 
• Passport 
• Voter’s ID card.

The candidate may also carry a black or blue ballpoint pen. 

What Not to Carry on the Date of the WBPSC IDO Exam?

For security reasons and to prevent malpractices, the WBPSC has banned the entry of particular objects in the exam hall. The list of such objects is provided in the WBPSC IDO admit card. To ensure that no candidate brings such items into the exam hall, an elaborate security check is carried out at the entry points to the exam center. If any candidate is found to possess such objects within the exam hall, then their paper will be canceled immediately. The objects whose entry has been barred from the WBPSC examination are mentioned below. 

• All electronic gadgets, including but not restricted to mobile phones, headphones, calculators, chargers, digital watches, calculators, and electronic pens, are strictly prohibited.

• Stationery items such as pencil boxes or pouches, geometry boxes, scribble pads, and rough sheets are also not allowed. All the necessary stationery items will be provided at the exam hall.

• All food items are not allowed.

WBPSC IDO Exam Pattern and Selection Process 2020

The selection process for the WBPSC IDO recruitment consists of two stages: the written exam (Screening Test) and Personal interview. Only those candidates who clear the written exam will move on to the Personal interview stage. After completion of the interview round, recruitment is done on the basis of merit and other factors such as vacancies, reservation, etc.

It is key for the candidates to know the exam pattern thoroughly before they appear for the exam and download the WBPSC IDO admit card. The written exam is an objective-type written exam which has only one paper, but the marking scheme is divided as follows.
