Calculation:

Let the first part be "a", second part be "b" and third part be "c".

According to the question-

⇒ × a = × b = × c

Let × a = × b = × c = k

⇒ a = 2k

⇒ b = 5k

⇒ c = k

⇒ 2k + 5k + k = Rs 5800

⇒ 29k = Rs 5800 × 3

⇒ k = Rs 600

Substituting the value of k in the equation of "c"-

⇒ × c = Rs 600

⇒ c = Rs 1600

∴ The value of third part is Rs 1600.
