Formula used:
Marked Price (MP) = CP × (1 + Markup%)
Selling Price (SP) = MP × (1 − Discount%)
Profit% = ((SP − CP) ÷ CP) × 100
Calculations:
⇒ MP = 1300 × (1 + 35/100) = 1300 × 1.35 = ₹1755
⇒ SP = 1755 × (1 − 20/100) = 1755 × 0.80 = ₹1404
⇒ Profit = 1404 − 1300 = ₹104
⇒ Profit% = (104 ÷ 1300) × 100 = 8%
∴ Percentage profit = 8%
