By selling 50 items, a shopkeeper gains the selling price of 10 items 

Formula used:-

Profit = Selling price - Cost price  

Profit% = (Profit/CP) × 100 

Calculation:-

⇒ 10SP = 50SP - 50CP  

⇒ 40SP = 50CP 

⇒ CP/SP = 40/50 

⇒ Profit% = [( 50 - 40)/40] × 100 = 25% 

∴ The required answer is 25%
