डोम नट		The dome nut is similar to the hexagonal nut with a spherical cap at the top. It is also known as Acorn Nuts or Cap nuts. The dome nut is used to protect the end of the bolt from corrosion.
कैप्स्टन नट		This is in the form of a cylinder with holes drilled in the curved surface. These holes can be used to turn the nut by placing a Tommy bar in it.
विंग नट		The wing nut is used to tightening two mating parts by hand and is used for light-duty purposes. When the mating parts are frequently used to adjust (such as tightening of hacksaw blade), this nut is used.
लॉक नट		The thin lock nut is first tightened down with ordinary force, and then the upper nut (thicker nut) down upon it. The upper nut is then held tightly while the lower nut is slackened back against it.
