Formula used :

If x is a greatest integer such that :

⇒ n < x < n + 1 then :

⇒ [x] = n

Solution :
∵ -1 < (-1 / 4) < 0

So [] = -1

Similarly :

⇒ 4 < < 5

⇒ = 4

and [2] = 2

Now the required sum :-

⇒ -1 + 4 + 2

⇒ 5

Hence the correct answer is "5"
