Concept:

In a transistor, emitter current is calculated as

IE = I+ IB

Also,  ∆IE = IIB

Where, 

∆IE =  Change in emitter current

∆IC =  Change in collector current

∆IB =  Change in base current

Calculation:

Given-

∆I= 8 mA, ∆I= 7.8 mA

∴ ∆IB = 8 - 7.8 = 0.2 mA

∆IB = 0.2 mA
