Formula Used:
Area of parallelogram = Height × Base
Area of triangle = 1/2 × Height × Base
Calculation:
PQ = SR = 14 cm
SR = ST + TR
⇒ 14 = ST + 8 cm
⇒ ST = 6 cm
Area of triangle = 1/2 × Height × Base
⇒ 54 = 1/2 × 6 × Height
⇒ Height = 18 cm
Area of parallelogram = 18 × 14 cm2
⇒ 252 cm2
∴ Area of parallelogram is 252 cm2
