Ratio of radii of two cylinders = 1 : 4

Ratio of height of two cylinders = 4 : 3 

Formula Used:

Volume of cylinder = πr2h [where r = radius of base and h = height]

Calculation:

Let the radii of two cylinders be x and 4x and their heights be 4y and 3y

Volume of 1st cylinder : Volume of 2nd cylinder = πx2 × 4y : π(4x)2 × 3y

⇒ 4x2y : 48x2y

⇒ 1 : 12

Their volumes will be in the ratio of 1 : 12.
