The ratio of number of car A and car B in 2012 = 17 : 16
The production of car A in 2012 = 850
Let the ratio of number of car A and car B be 17x and 16x respectively
⇒ 17x = 850
⇒ x = 50
The production of car B = 16x = 16 × 50 = 800
The number of car A manufactured in 2014 = 630
Required ratio = (800 : 630)
⇒ 80 : 63
