Bihar Public Service Commission has invited applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Motor Vehicle Inspector. The notification states that there 28 vacancies to be filled for this post under the Transport Department, Bihar Government. BPSC Motor Vehicle Inspector Selection process includes a written exam and an interview test. Candidates need to score the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam to become eligible for the interview stage. The marks obtained in both stages will determine the ranking of candidates in the final merit list which will be published on the official website.
As of now, BPSC has not announced the exam dates for the Motor Vehicle Inspector written exam 2025. Candidates will have to apply online onto the BPSC website from June 10 to July 3. In this article, candidates can find complete information on the BPSC MVI Selection process.
The recruitment for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector has two stages (written and interview). Applicants need to score the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam after which candidates will be called in for the final interview stage. The written exam is conducted for a total of 300 marks in which there will be three sections - Paper-I, Paper-II & Paper-III. We know, the first stage in this recruitment process is the written exam. This exam is divided into three sections - Paper-I (General Studies), Paper-II (Automobile/Mechanical Engineering) & Paper-III (Motor Vehicles Acts). All of the questions will be of objective type MCQs with each question carrying one mark. Candidates do not have to worry about any deductions for wrong answers as there is no negative marking in this exam.
