Prices of pulses A, B, and C = ₹80 per kg, ₹60 per kg, and ₹80 per kg respectively

Concept:

The average cost of a mixture is the total cost of all components divided by the total quantity of all components.

Calculation:

⇒ Total cost = (4 × 80) + (3 × 60) + (3 × 80)

⇒ Total cost = 320 + 180 + 240 = 740

⇒ Total quantity = 4 + 3 + 3 = 10

⇒ Average cost = Total cost / Total quantity = 740 /10 = 74
