- पृथ्वी का केंद्र ऐसा है कि यदि हम उस स्थान पर हैं, तो हमारे आस-पास के द्रव्यमान को पृथ्वी की सतह पर संघनित माना जा सकता है, अर्थात पृथ्वी को एक गोलाकार आवरण माना जाता है।
- एक गोलाकार आवरण के अंदर जाने पर क्षमता में कोई बदलाव नहीं होता है और चूंकि केवल क्षमता में परिवर्तन बल आरोपित करता है तो इसका तात्पर्य है कि कोई बल नहीं है।
