Calculation

Ratio of students using school bus to those not using it = 5:3

Total students in School A = 320

So, let students using school bus = [5/8] × 320 = 200

Those not using school bus = 320 – 200 = 120

Out of those who use the school bus, 50% are girls

⇒ girls = [50 / 100] ×200=100

So, boys who use the bus = 100

Total boys in A = 140

So, boys not using the bus = 140 – 100 = 40
