Detailed Solution
Download Solution PDFGiven:
Sum of three terms = 24350
First : second = 27 : 28
Second : third = 29 : 30
Calculation:
First : second = (27 : 28) × 29 = 783 : 812
Second : third = (29 : 30) × 28 = 812 : 840
Ratio of First : Second : Third = 783 : 812 : 840
Let the first, second, and third terms be 783x, 812x, and 840x, respectively.
So, 783x + 812x + 840x = 24350
⇒ 2435x = 24350
⇒ x = 10
First term = 783x = 7830
Second term = 812x = 8120
Third term = 840x = 8400
Difference between first and last term:
Third term - First term = 8400 - 7830 = 570
The difference between the first and last term is 570.
