Ferromagnetic Materials:

Ferromagnetic materials are those substances which exhibit strong magnetism in the same direction of the field when a magnetic field is applied to it.

E.g- cobalt, nickel, gadolinium and iron.

Important Point-

1. Above curie temprature the ferromagnetic material will turn into paramagnetic material.

2. Ferromagnetic materials are used in electromagnets, transformers, electric motors, tape recorder, generators etc.
