IIT JAM Aggregate Marks in Qualifying Examination
As per the IIT JAM eligibility guidelines, candidates are required to have a minimum of the provided aggregate marks. The aggregate marks required for PG courses are listed below:
- In the qualifying degree, the aggregate marks or CGPA without rounding off should be at least 55% or 5.5 out of 10 for General/OBC (NCL) category candidates and 50% or 5.0 out of 10 SC/ST category candidates.
- The aggregate marks or CGPA should be first-class marks or min. 55% aggregate marks or 5.5 out of 10, without rounding off for General and OBC (NCL) candidates in the qualifying degree.
- Second class or min. 50% aggregate marks or 5.0 out of 10 without rounding off for SC/ST/PwD candidates, in qualifying degree.
