IBPS Clerk Selection Process

• Prelims exam: For the posts of Clerk, the examination will be two tier i.e. the Online Examination will be held in two phases, Preliminary and Main. candidates who will qualify in Preliminary Examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Main Examination.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Preliminary Examination

The preliminary examination is the first stage of the IBPS Clerk selection process. It is an objective-type paper that is conducted in online mode. The prelims paper is divided into three sections - English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. There are 100 questions in total carrying 1 mark each. IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Mains Examination

The candidates who have qualified for the preliminary exam are eligible for the main exam of IBPS Clerk 2025. The mains exam is divided into four sections - general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning ability. The exam is conducted for 160 minutes. The IBPS Clerk mains exam 2025 will comprise multiple-choice questions of a total of 200 marks. Each wrong answer will lead to a deduction of one-fourth of the marks assigned to each question. IBPS Clerk Selection Process: Document Verification

Document verification is the final stage of the IBPS Clerk selection process. The candidates are called to join the banks that they have been allotted to for training after the documents have been verified. All the data submitted while filling up the application form is verified in this stage. Given below is a list of important documents that the candidates must carry for this stage:

• Photo Identity Proof
• Date of Birth Proof
• Graduation/ Post Graduation certificate
• Mark sheet
• Certificate of professional experience (if any)
