IBPS Clerk Age Limit

IBPS Clerk Age Relaxation

The following are the age relaxations for definite categories subsequently:

Ex-Servicemen(EXMN): Only candidates will be treated as Ex-Servicemen who fulfill the revised definition according to the government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs dated 27.10.1986. 

Disabled Ex-Servicemen: Ex-Servicemen while serving in the armed forces were disabled are treated as Disabled Ex-Servicemen.

Dependent on Servicemen Killed in Action(DXS): Servicemen who are killed in the following operations like War/Border operations/Serving with peacekeeping machines abroad etc. For the purpose of concession of reservation for the dependents on servicemen would include wise, son, daughter, etc.

IBPS Clerk Educational Qualification

As per the IBPS CLerk Eligibility Criteria, candidates must have the following educational qualifications:

• Have a graduate degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India.
• Have sufficient computer efficiency with a diploma course or degree in this affair. 
• Know how to speak, read and write the language of the particular state that they are applying for.
• Ex-Servicemen lacking these criteria should be matriculate and have achieved an Army Special certificate or equivalent Education or Navy/Air force certificate, not less than 15 years of service in the Union of Armed Forces as of 21.07.2022. 
• Candidates have prior knowledge about the Calculation of Percentage as follows: The percentage marks shall be arrived at by dividing the total marks obtained by the candidate in all the subjects in all semester(s)/year(s) by aggregate maximum marks multiplied by 100. The fraction of percentage calculated will be ignored i.e. 59.99% will be treated as less than 60% and 54.99% will be treated as less than 55%.

Computer Literacy/Knowledge

• Computer Literacy: Aspirants must have enough knowledge of Computer Systems. They must have a valid certificate/degree/diploma in Computer Operations or Information Technology.
• Candidates must be well versed with the operating and working knowledge of computer systems.

IBPS Clerk Nationality 

To fulfill the IBPS clerk exam eligibility for the recruitment, the aspirants need to fulfill the below-mentioned nationality requirements. The candidates must be:

• An Indian citizen or,
• A subject of Bhutan or Nepal or,
• A Tibetan refugee who migrated to India before 1st January 1962 to settle in the country permanently or,
• An Indian person who has come over from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Malawi, Zambia, Ethiopia, Zaire, or Vietnam to settle in India on a permanent note.
• The point to note is, the Indian Government must issue the particular candidate with an eligibility certificate.
