MPSC Geography Exam Pattern 2023
Knowing the Exam Pattern is essential for the MPSC aspirants. The candidates will be able to prepare accordingly by knowing the exam pattern beforehand.
Prelims Exam
The first stage, the preliminary exam, will consist of 2 papers, General Studies and CSAT, which will be qualifying in nature. The candidates need to prepare well as there will be a negative marking of 1/4th marks for wrong answers. Total marks for the preliminary exam will be 400 marks.

Mains Exam
The next stage, the main exam will consist of 2 language papers, 1 essay paper, 4 papers of General Studies, and 2 optional papers. The combined score for all papers will be 1750 marks. The candidates will be given 3 hours per paper. Nature of the Question Paper will be Conventional/Descriptive.

Interview/ Personality Test
After qualifying the Prelims and the mains, the candidates will be called in for the Personality Test/ Interview Round. This round will be conducted for a total of 275 marks, and will be the last stage of the recruitment process.
