Sn = n/2 × {2a + (n - 1) × d}; जहाँ n= पदों की संख्या, d = समान अंतर , a = पहला पद, Sn = n पदों का योग; d = (a2 - a1); a2 = A.P. का दूसरा पद, a1 = A.P का पहला पद
गणना:
उपर्युक्त सूत्र के प्रयोग से, हमें प्राप्त हुआ d = 4
⇒ S25 = 25 / 2 × {2 × 7 + (25 - 1) × 4}
⇒ S25 = 55 × 25
⇒ S25 = 1375
∴ 25 पदों का अभीष्ट योग = 1375
