Stay insulator:

• ​Stay insulator is a porcelain stay insulator or ceramic guy strain insulator.
• Ceramic guy stain insulator is an insulator generally with an elongated shape, and the porcelain stay insulator has two transverse holes or slots.
• Porcelain stay insulator is mainly used on the guy wire structure to balance the tension strength and also provide the insulating. The color is brown, gray, or white.
• For low voltage lines, the ceramic guy strain insulator is to be insulated from the ground at a height.
• The ceramic guy strain insulator used in the stay wire is called the stay insulator and is usually of porcelain and is so designed that in case of breakage of the insulator, the guy-wire will not fall to the ground.
