Now,

And, In 11 Years = 3 Leap years and 8 Ordinary Years.

So, 3 Leap Years have 6 odd days,

And, 8 Ordinary Years have 8 odd days.

Total odd days = 6 + 8 = 14.

14 odd days → 14/7 = 2 weeks and 0 odd days.

then, 17 August 2014 will be Sunday + 0 = Sunday.

Now, the number of days between 17 August 2014 to 12 September 2014

= 14(August) + 12(September) = 26 days.

= 26 days → 26/7 = 3 weeks and 5 odd days.

So, 12 September 2014 will be Sunday + 5 = Friday.
