Given:

The angles of a triangle are in the ratio of 9 ∶ 11 ∶ 16.

Formula used:

Sum of angles in a triangle = 180º

Calculation:

Let the angles be 9x, 11x, and 16x.

Sum of angles = 9x + 11x + 16x = 180º

⇒ 36x = 180º

⇒ x = 5º

The greatest angle = 16x = 16 × 5º = 80º

The smallest angle = 9x = 9 × 5º = 45º

Difference between the greatest angle and the smallest angle = 80º - 45º = 35º

∴ The correct answer is option 4.
