Distance if he followed a straight line path = \(\sqrt {{{\left( {15 + 6} \right)}^2} + {{20}^2}} \)

= \(\sqrt {{{21}^2} + {{20}^2}} \) = \(\sqrt {441 + 400} \) = √841 = 29.

He will have to walk for 29 m if he followed a straight-lined path from his office to his home.

Hence, “29 m” is the correct answer.
