Principles of effective writing:
- Clarity is a basic requirement for all writing. The basic purpose of writing is to clarify and inform. Therefore, the writing should be clear, orderly, readable, and in a language understandable to the audience.
- The writer should produce a sense of form and right proportion, a sense of words that fit the ideas that he/she wants to convey. Therefore, the writing should be concise and short.
- The sentences should be simple and should avoid complex sentences.
- The writing should be free from any kind of error like grammar and ambiguity. There should be correctness in the writing.
