Given :

Woman is 28 years older than her son.

In three years, her age will be twice the age of her son.

Calculation :

According to question,

⇒ W = 28 + S --------(1)

⇒ W + 3 = 2(S + 3)  ----------(2)

⇒ W + 3 = 2S + 6

⇒ W - 2S = 3 , W - S = 28

On Solving Eq(1) and Eq(2) :

⇒ S = 25 years

∴ The correct answer is 25 years.
