Given : Six friends M, N, O, P, Q and R, are sitting in a row facing South.

Explanation :

1) N is exactly in between P and Q.

2) M is to the immediate right of P.

3) Q is at the extreme left of the row.

Thus, according to the final arrangement M is sitting to the immediate left to O.

Hence, "M" is the correct answer.
