The reactive power is given by:

\(Q=VIsinϕ\)

where, V = Voltage

I = Current 

\(\phi=tan^{-1}({ω L\over R})\)

Calculation

Given, R = 8 Ω 

L = 0.01911 

XL = ωL = 2π(50) × 0.01911 = 6

\(\phi=tan^{-1}({6\over 8})\) = 36.86°

\(Q=230\times 23\times sin(36.86)\)
