xn - pyn + qzn, x+ abyz - bzx - axy से विभाज्य है। 

गणना:

हमारे पास है,

x+ abyz - bzx - axy

इसे निम्नानुसार लिखा जा सकता है:

⇒ x2 - bzx - axy + abyz

⇒ x(x - bz) - ay(x - bz)

⇒ x2 + (bz - ay)x + abyz

⇒ (x - bz) (x - ay)

इसलिए, bz और ay, (x+ abyz - bzx - axy) के गुणनखंड होंगे। 

चूँकि, x+ abyz - bzx - axy, xn - pyn + qzn का गुणनखंड है। 

हम इसे निम्नानुसार लिख सकते हैं:

xn - pyn + qzn = (x - bz) (x - ay) × k    -----(1)

x = bz रखने पर,

⇒ bnzn - pyn + qzn = 0     -----(2)

x = ay रखने पर,

⇒ anyn - pyn + qzn = 0     -----(3)

समीकरण (3) - समीकरण (1) करने पर,

⇒ bnzn - anyn = 0

 bnzn = anyn

समीकरण (3) से,

⇒ bnzn - pyn + qzn = 0          (∵ bnzn = anyn)

⇒ 1 - (pyn/bnzn) + q/b= 0

⇒ 1 - (pyn/anyn) + q/b= 0    (∵ bnzn = anyn)

⇒ \(\rm \frac{p}{a^n}-\frac{q}{b^n}\) = 1

अतः \(\rm \frac{p}{a^n}-\frac{q}{b^n}\) का मान 1 है।
